MISSION
The mission of the GDCTA scholarship program is to provide an educational
experience to expand the knowledge and abilities of the committed, talented,
and motivated
GDCTA members. These individuals must show a serious commitment to the study
if dressage as well as a willingness to share and enrich the GDCTA membership
with the improved understanding and skills gained from the experience. This
scholarship represents an investment by GDCTA. The recipient understands
that the membership
will benefit as a result of the recipient’s experience.
2008 PROGRAM UPDATE
In years past, GDCTA offered this scholarship exclusively
with the Etoile International Equestrian Academy. In 2007, Etoile closed
its doors so we
have used this opportunity to reflect on how best to improve the GDCTA Scholarship
Program. After much debate, it was decided that GDCTA is committed to this
unique and very exciting international program because the European experience
is so steeped in tradition, culture, old institutions, competitions and horses
in a concentrated area.
GDCTA will offer a number of excellent programs, including some for eventers.
Check the website for current program listings.
