GDCTA Awards Program

The Annual GDCTA Awards serve to recognize the hard work and dedication of our members.

Award General Rules

The Awards year begins on Nov. 1 of the previous year and will end on Oct 31st of the current year.
To compete in the Awards Program, send in a Rider Report Form properly filled out in the discipline competing, and you will be automatically registered in that discipline. If you forget to get it signed at the show, just fill out your RRF and send it in along with proof of your scores (Dressage) or placing (CT).
Rider Report Forms must be postmarked or received no later than 20 days after the show. This deadline will be strictly adhered to due to the method of tabulating awards. Fax or email are prefered methods as you can then prove that you sent it in.
Keep the originals and send copies. That's not required but is a good idea.
You will be notified withing 7 days that your RRF has been received. If you do not hear from us within that time frame, call or email. You will have 30 days from the date of the show to correct any mistakes.
It is the rider's responsibility to make sure we have received your form. Check - often.
Point tabulation based on placing in a class will only apply for CT. See CT rules for details.
Points for Dressage are calculated based on percentages earned. See Dressage rules for details.
