The Board and its Directors
The board of directors is the governing body of a nonprofit. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities. Board members meet monthly on the 3rd Monday to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization. Board memberships are not set up to be permanent positions; the positions have terms set up for board members – one year for each Officer and two years for each Director. The job of the board is to oversee the "big-picture" operation of the club.
The board officers include the president, two vice presidents who are experts their discipline, a treasurer, and two secretaries – one for recording and the other for correspondence.
The Board of Directors are all making dressage and eventing more accessible to the public, breaking down boundaries and helping to create a thriving community for all of us.
If you are interested in joining the board, attend a meeting or contact any of the board members for more information.
