Musical freestyles for dressage riders can be designed by Cynthia Collins at all levels from PARA to Pony Club to Amateurs to FEI Junior/Young Riders to Selection Trial Riders and Western Dressage.
Designing a musical freestyle for dressage can be a very time consuming and frustrating experience; investing hours of listening to and buying music, purchasing equipment, and learning the computer technology necessary. Finally, it can take years to learn how to design and edit the music in a way that is creative while complying with the USEF rules and USDF/FEI requirements.
Almost two decades of experience, Cynthia can produce professional freestyles. She can select music that suits your horse, or use your selections, and match the music's tempo to your horse's gaits. She can take musical phrases and place them where you will be riding your required movements. Freestyles are not just playing music while the rider does the required movements! There’s so much more!
Cynthia has designed, choreographed, and ridden championship freestyles at every level. She has many years of instrumental music experience and dance training. But her real training for freestyles has been gained in the competition arena, in front of audiences and judges. This showing experience is what sets her apart from designers who don't ride. She understands what riders have to deal with while in the competition arena, because she has been there.
