Concerned you can “do the job”? GDCTA will train you. There will be job descriptions before the show and training sessions through the weekend. Each volunteer area will have experienced people available to assist you.

Members who join the team can earn credit toward the Liz Faso Memorial Volunteer of the Year Awards (sponsored by Bouckaert Farm)!

Volunteer positions still needing to be filled as of Sept 18:

The Awards Table is a cushy job - in the air conditioning - a team of you will hand out tests and ribbons and prizes to competitors when they come in to get them.

The Awards Ceremonies take place at the end of the covered arena at midday and at the end of classes. The job is helping coordinate ribbons and the winners of the classes being awarded at that time. It can take 30 minutes, give or take, and you can be a competitor and still help but if you commit to being there we need you to be there.

Floaters are there to fill in on any job as needed. Sometimes floaters get placed in a role due to circumstances and other times they hang around without too many obligations.
